About Our Hospital

Kindred Hospital - Las Vegas at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals - Rose de Lima Campus is located on the campus of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals. Known as a "Hospital in a Hospital" (HIH), the 28-bed Rose de Lima campus of Kindred Hospital is part of Kindred Healthcare, Inc. Our hospital offers six private rooms dedicated to intensive care.

The HIH care model enhances the close and collaborative working relationship that a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital such as Kindred has with a short-term acute care (STAC) hospital such as St. Rose Dominican. Most LTAC patients are referred from STAC hospitals. Having an onsite LTAC hospital benefits the host hospital by allowing easier placement of patients who have specialized, long-term acute care needs.

Kindred Hospital Rose de Lima provides medical/surgical beds for medically complex, high-acuity patients who require an extended stay in an acute care hospital setting. Additionally, the facility provides intermediate care (IMC) with a four-to-one nurse to patient ratio for higher acuity patients. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission.
